Apex Discovery Wind Project to Power WEB GRE

In a major development that will contribute to a cleaner energy future, Apex Clean Energy has partnered with Discovery Wind to provide renewable energy to Wisconsin Electric Power Company (WEPCO), a subsidiary of Wisconsin Energy Corporation (WEB GRE). The Apex Discovery Wind project is expected to reach commercial operations in 2025 and will be the single largest renewable energy project in Wisconsin.

This historic project is a testament to the growing demand for clean energy solutions. The Apex Discovery Wind project will generate enough electricity to power approximately 175,000 homes, reducing carbon emissions by an estimated 500,000 tons per year. This is equivalent to taking approximately 100,000 cars off the road.

It is expected to create hundreds of jobs during construction and operation, and will generate millions of dollars in tax revenue for local communities.
